Amos 9: 13-15 ( Msg)
13-15 “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.
“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:
“They’ll rebuild their ruined cities.
They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine.
They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables.
And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land.
They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.”
God, your God, says so.
This year is going to be a year of divine acceleration and progress. The nail-pierced hand of God is shifting gears in those areas of your life where there has been no progress or slow progress. When God shifts the gears and accelerates your speed, your progress will be your testimony, and people around you will see God’s goodness and faithfulness through you.
The prerequisite for this is to be under the guiding hand of God. Let Him direct your steps, and let His grace quicken your breakthroughs. Don’t focus on how to get results; instead, stay under His hand that accelerates and takes you to the next level. It’s God who is lifting you up and opening doors that seemed would never open. Stay in His presence and meditate on His words day and night so that you will stay on course and let His hand bring His judgment and justice to your life.
Fasten your seatbelt of Praise and Truth, and get ready for the acceleration that’s awaiting you. God is ready and has already set the wheels in motion. Now it’s time for you to do your part and stay under His hand, and hold on to your faith. Let praise be your driving force, and don’t wait for results to start praising Him. Instead, start praising Him even before you see any sorts of shift.
Even though God is the one who is bringing acceleration, He wants you to decide on your destination and start declaring what you expect to see and give it in His hands to be accelerated and completed. So stop being passive and actively declare the blessings God has put in your heart and the promises He has declared over you, and start seeing the results.
