Repay evil with love. Not everyone around you will celebrate the goodness of God in your life and will be happy for you but that doesn’t have to change who you are and how you react to them. Even when people around you put you down, look for ways to besmirch your name and assume all sorts of motives for every action of yours, hold on to God’s love in you and pray all the more that His love should flow within you and through you and don’t ever let bitterness take root in your heart.
You are who God says you are and not what the people around you say about you. The opinions of people may constantly change but God sees you the same way every day and His love for you never changes. Let that unchanging love of God be the constant in your life and let it keep you grounded and sane.
